The Strategic Plan is the result of commitment of the Mirembe National Mental Health Hospital staff; Mirembe Hospital Board Members; Ministry of Health,Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children; and other Stakeholders
I would like to extend my gratitude to all participants, facilitators, Members of the Board and other stakeholders for their invaluable support and guidance that led to the production of this document.
The deep felt gratitude is wished to the untiring efforts which were put by the Hospital Management Committee (HMC), Executive Management Committee (EMC) and secretariat for providing the required information needed to finalize the document.
Finally, I would like to thank our facilitators from the President’s Office; Ms. Elizabeth Makyao and Ms. Veila Shoo, for close supersivion and guidance, spending time with team step by step towards finalizing the document. It is my expectation that this Strategic Plan will support the hospital perform better, by ensuring that utilization of resources is linked to planned activities and the expected results are achieved.
I make a call to all stakeholders using this plan to maintain the team spirit and use the document as a tool to plan and manage day to day Hospital’s activities
